It was a Sunday. I was feeling desperately needy but had no clue of the cause. I remained at home wrestling with myself. It was raining heavily outside. Then it hit me, I need a good walk. It’s been sometime since I’ve walked and I needed to feel at one with nature. I waited for the rain to stop. Then put on my walkers and headed for
When I got there, I realized this is my ‘Zen’ place. When it feels like time out, or I need to just breathe and smell the flowers around me, this is the place. It’s a wonderful feeling to just take a look around at the trees and the lake (man-made of course) and just breathe it all in.
This walk was quite interesting; I had my headphones plugged to my ears for some music from my hand phone which lasted me my 2 rounds in the park. There were more monkeys than usual. And one rooster! It just came right out of the woods and before I was able to take a picture of it, it scurried back in. It was a really beautiful rooster.
Later I came across this black dog now which hangs around one area in the park, but it doesn’t really bug anyone. (I’m scared of dogs for those who don’t know me.)
After the walk, I had a bowl of tau foo far. There is a van which sells lovely Soya bean and tau foo far(soy milk curd served with syrup) at the entrance to the park. I went back feeling rejuvenated.
I loved every minute of my time there. This was a place I knew I could come and feel at peace. My ‘Zen’ place. I finally found it!

I must find my own Zen place too! The disco was too noisy though...
some people can be at 'Zen' at a disco...
I'm glad you've found your "Zen" place. It is important for your well-being. It's something I need to find too.
