Celebrations

I had just attended 3 weddings one after another somewhere end of August, and here I am faced again with weddings to occupy me every single weekend this October.

As much as I love weddings it also digs a deep growing hole in my pocket. I guess I’m at an age where friends around my age are all falling off the ‘single’ market one by one.

The year 2008 seems to be coming to an end pretty quickly. Some pretty big disappointments this year and yet a part of me feels a certain sense of achievement. It has been a thoroughly well-spent year, which I must admit almost completely satisfying, except for the inability to balance up the ledgers and afford a decent end of the year holiday.

But life is all about taking risks, while making decisions. And though my previous blog on ‘Age’ may express certain regrets, I say, with every disappointment comes a much needed education.

So celebrate, celebrate life as it is, and as it comes, never looking back!
