Here another one of my one word titled blogs. Did you know that blog is not an official word on Microsoft Word? Every time I type blog it reads it as a spelling error. Either that or I need to update my Microsoft Office or Microsoft Office needs to get updated!
Today I spent 2 hours of ironing. Before you start thinking I did a whole load of ironing, I must tell you firstly how much I hate ironing and secondly how long I take to iron. My hubby got me a lovely iron, the latest Tefal with a super glide and auto clean system. It’s a really nice iron coming from someone who doesn’t like to iron.
While I was ironing like all other activities we do, I think I learnt something. Ironing is spending time with all your treasured clothes making sure every crease is gone and it becomes wrinkle free. It’s also a time for clothes inspection, every flaw becomes visible even the smallest speck of dirt. There are two things you can do when you find something wrong with you clothes, one get it corrected and two, innovate. Of course a third one, the toughest of them all especially for me (a perfectionist most of the time), ignore it completely if you can.
And then I realised, this can also apply to how we live life. Either get it corrected if we are totally off course, or innovate and get creative, or just have a good laugh!
Am I getting philosophical? Nah, I think I’m just bored; still it’s a discovery.

Isn't it interesting that how we deal with the small things in life it pretty much how we deal with the larger things in life?
