Of 8 Gals

I have 8 girlfriends whom I hang out with frequently and have done stuff with over the past year or so now. I’m not sure how long it will last but hope it does continue as long as we can hold out.

It started when I joined a project team and met M & S. M & S are my close friends now. M had to leave to UK though in between the project but we still maintained our ties despite the brief introduction. C joined the same project later on and then was assigned to UK for a short stint. I introduced C to M and they hooked up in UK. C came back. C, S & myself went for frequent lunches together until I had to go on maternity leave. The project team soon disbanded and we went our separate ways.

Due to circumstances, M had to come back to Malaysia. Then, M, C, S and me decided to meet up. We did off and on. We then decided on a Christmas party. C brought Se from her new workplace and M brought Su her old friend. So there we met, M, C, S, Se, Su and myself. That makes 6.

I moved on to a different project and met Sh. Sh was interesting as she liked outdoor activities which I had a sudden interest too just to spice up things in life. So we ended up on our first outdoor adventure, and Sh brought D. The 2 of them were introduced to my other 5 friends who turned up for this outdoor event. That made the 8 of us.

M, C, S, Se, Su, Sh, D and me. We’ve been on many girl trips and out door activities now and lately even managed to have a holiday together.

I’ve been wanting to blog on this girl group as they are all unique in everyway and the way we fit together really complements each other. Our different backgrounds and personalities bring a lot of life to the group. No doubt having some level of similar interest helps.
